A cow is a mob found in many places across the Overworlds. They are usually kept for their meat and milk, though they are also used as test animals for redstone contraptions and as pets.

Behavior

Cows exhibit natural animal behavior. They have been observed shaking off water when wet and are capable of simple movements that resemble dancing.

History

Assembly Required (Redstonia)

In Redstonia, some redstone engineers incorporated cows into their inventions. Mabel used cows as projectiles for her Cow-A-Pult, while Disco Mickey used them in his Bovine Lava Disco contraption. If Jesse chose to steal Mickey's repeater, the redstone mechanism fails, causing the cows to burn.

Several cows could also be seen in a hot air balloon floating above the town; the hot air balloon itself is designed to resemble a cow.

A cow appears in the surface beneath Sky City after Isa, Jesse, and Lukas fell from the city.

Jailhouse Block

If Jesse chooses to shear Geoff, the mooshroom was turned into a regular cow. This deeply upset Oxblood, who shed tears over the transformation.
