This Drop

It keeps changing from having (November/December) removed and added again should it be removed or stay there? I am going to remove it but you guys can change it to the right thing you think of. (it does not clarify whether it comes out in November or December, so people would expect something that has not been announced.) 👁 Image

I removed the useless "in the United States and Sweden where Mojang's headquarters are located" as that really doesnt add anything useful to the page, but that was reverted due to some non-existent "consensus" thats nowhere on this talk page. I 👁 Image

For the record. The quote "Holiday" for the drop's release data also aligns with the MC Live. I think? I could be misremembering. But I think they said they wanted to release it for the holiday this year. -- Simanelix (T|C) 14:14, 3 October 2025 (UTC)

Merging spawn eggs into a single bullet point

[edit source]
Latest comment: 30 October 20256 comments6 people in discussion

It's been reverted multiple times because apparently we now have to discuss every changes, so here I am proposing it: I suggest merging all spawn eggs into 1 bullet point instead of taking 9 different lines, i.e simply having:

instead of

My reasoning being that we don't need to take so much space, furthemore at the top of the article, overshadowing the actual features, for spawn eggs (pretty irrelevant items). I also can't tell how many times I've clicked on these spawn eggs instinctively, thinking it would take me to the mobs page, only to be sent to the spawn egg page instead; I doubt that I'm the only one this has happened to.

(I would have honestly suggested completely phasing out the inclusion of spawn eggs from these update articles, but I'd rather not go down that road.) - Zamburger (talk) 09:31, 30 October 2025 (UTC)

Soft support. This makes a lot of sense, but would probably require a larger discussion, maybe on the wiki forum. I think consistency is quite important and changing all past versions would require a bot action. --MinecraftExp123(talk|contribs) 10:19, 30 October 2025 (UTC)

Done this but without animate since the textures are unique and there's so few of them. Honestly we should stop using animate on these pages. Also I know you aren't formally suggesting it but removing spawn eggs entirely would be really strange, they are indeed additions and because of the unique textures people will want to see them. - Harri / Talk 👁 Image

Release Date

[edit source]
Latest comment: 7 November 20255 comments5 people in discussion

The release date keeps being changed from “TBA” and “?”. What should we use as the release date? I know that there is another topic, but we need to figure it out. I think that the November/December should not be there, as it is now November, but how did we do the release date before the release date was announced on The Copper Age, or Chase the Skies? 64.174.61.165 13:40, 6 November 2025 (UTC)

"?" or "TBA" are correct, all we know officially is that it's being released by the end of the year. On The Copper Age we used "?" until the release date was officially announced at Minecraft Live, while for Chase the Skies we had a now deleted tweet from a Mojang employee stating it would release in June (https://archive.is/j0vh2). --Capopanzo (talk | contribs) 13:48, 6 November 2025 (UTC)
FYI TBA stands for "to be announced". --MinecraftExp123(talk|contribs) 13:51, 6 November 2025 (UTC)

They already release a version today, so today obviously isn't the relase date of Mounts of Mayhem. Since they only relase major updates on tuesdays, isn't it safe to say that it will release in december. CrockCraftMC (talk) 17:22, 25 November 2025 (UTC)

That's still speculation. Even if it's extremely unlikely, it could still release tomorrow for all we know, the Tuesday release date is not something that's officially confirmed. | violine1101 (talk) 17:26, 25 November 2025 (UTC)

Im not sure what you’ve decided but shouldn’t the plural for Nautilus be Nautili not Nautiluses

--FeedbackBot 10:01, 17 December 2025 (UTC)
Generally, Mojang uses "nautili" when referring to both the regular and zombie nautilus, and "nautiluses" when referring to multiple of the same kind. However, both plurals are valid in English so such change does not need to be made. ‑‑MinecraftExp123(talk|contribs) 10:16, 17 December 2025 (UTC)

There's no way to share feedback on the main page so I'll just leave this here and hope for the best. The two main images on the main page now seem to have a weird semi transparent 3d style boarder applied over the edge of the image (not referring to the single color pixel boarder it has also). This really actually makes already busy images with a lot of information stuffed in them feel more busy and I feel this effect should be removed as it really doesn't add anything good. thank you
