The ender dragon was a powerful mob that once inhabited the End. It was killed by the old Order of the Stone, causing them to be revered as legendary heroes.

The ender dragon had the ability to fly, shoot acid charges from its mouth and spew acid at its victims. It could also be continuously healed by the ender crystals.

Before the events of the game, the Order of the Stone traveled to the End and defeated the ender dragon. They were revered as heroes for their actions.

Later, in A Block and a Hard Place, Soren recounted the events of the ender dragon fight, claiming the ender crystals were destroyed. After the crystals were found in pristine condition, Soren revealed that the dragon had been erased from existence using a command block.
