An eversource chicken is a unique type of chicken that lays spawn eggs. One member of the species appeared as an object of desire in Order Up!.
Eversource chickens, like their normal variants, will just wander about aimlessly and oftentimes peck on the ground. Instead of laying normal eggs, they lay spawn eggs.
In Order Up!, an eversource chicken named Benedict was sought by the New Order of the Stone and Ivor. After finding it, the Blaze Rods took the chicken and used its eggs to spawn monsters in Sky City. In the end, the chicken's crown was given to Jesse.
In A Journey's End?, Mevia revealed that Old Builders placed crowns on eversource chickens to distinguish them from regular chickens as they look the same.
