The Oreo x A Minecraft Movie Experience is an online augmented reality (AR) video game created through collaboration between A Minecraft Movie and Oreo. It was developed by coreweb GmbH for mobile devices and released on January 15, 2025.

The game is accessed via the Oreo website upon clicking on the Enter the portal button. Afterwards, users are required to register on the site—details needing to be entered include a first and last name, email, and phone number (optional)—as well as accept all agreements. After registration, if users haven't cookies, are offered a choice of one of four pictures of cookies that they need to click. If they already have cookie from the limited A Minecraft Movie collection, a bitten by square cookie needs to be scanned. After scanning the cookie, the site will request access to the camera and require the user to click on the Enter the portal button for the game to launch.

The AR game is region-locked; trying to access the website from some locations or countries does not work.^[1] Although, it is possible to play via a VPN connected to a server from one of the following regions. The game is available in the following regions:

The player is first tasked to create an Earth Portal by clicking and entering the portal. After entering the portal, the player can move around Steve's Secret Stash, where the player can interact with various objects inside, although the game contains only a smaller version of the main stash room from the film, with a door leading to the crafting room. The player can exit the portal at any time, and from the portal, they are also able to see the place in the real world where it was built. The portal can easily be broken down and rebuilt. From the windows in the stash, the player can see the trees and houses of Midport Village.

Near the interactive items, there is a little light-blue cube in which you need to click on it to interact with the object.

The game sets the task to find 4 items: Iron Sword, Earth Cube, Iron Pickaxe and Oreo Cookie. When picking up an task item, a spinning animation plays against a blue glow.

After collecting all of the items, a mobile wallpaper is granted to the player. The wallpaper depicts four Oreo cookies flying out of a Earth Portal on blue background.

Every time a task item is collected, or upon collecting every task item, an image with the inscription "enter the barcode to win" appears. When clicked, the user is prompted to enter the code from the packaging of the limited collection A Minecraft Movie of Oreo cookies, after which a prize is awarded.​^{[more information needed]} The winnable prizes included the following:

• A water bottle
• A Creeper-themed mug
• A cookie bowl
• VIP trip tickets to London
• Cinema tickets for A Minecraft Movie
• A backpack

• Oreo x A Minecraft Movie Experience is the third Minecraft game with augmented reality, after Minecraft Reality and Minecraft Earth.
• The Oreo cookie from this game has a unique creeper pattern, which is not in the limited collection of A Minecraft Movie.
