Share your Accessibility Settings with another device on iPad

You can temporarily share your Accessibility settings with another iPhone or iPad. For example, if you’re borrowing a friend’s iPhone or using a public iPad, you can share your Accessibility settings with the other device and remove them when you’re finished. Some settings you can share with another device include:

  • Zoom

  • Hover Text and Hover Typing

  • Display & Text

  • VoiceOver

  • Touch Accommodations

  • Read & Speak

  • Full Keyboard Access

  • Live Speech

  • Music Haptics

  • Audio & Visual

  • Top Button and Home Button

Note: Only your Accessibility settings will be shared with the other device during the sharing session.

Sync your Share Accessibility Settings to iCloud

If you use different Accessibility settings on different devices, you can sync your preferences to iCloud so they’re available when you share Accessibility settings between different devices. For example, if you sync your iPad settings and later use your iPhone to share with another iPad, your iPad accessibility preferences can be used.

  1. Go to the Settings app 👁 Image
    on your iPad.

  2. Tap Accessibility, then tap Share Accessibility Settings. (You may need to scroll down.)

  3. Turn Sync to iCloud on or off.
