A blaze spawner is a hostile mob and a mob spawner variant within the Flames of the Nether DLC that summons blazes.

Blaze spawners behave similar to the spawners in the main game, but light doesn't affect the spawn rate. It produces a crackling sound while idling. Their health ranks among the highest of any regular mob. Blaze spawners cannot spawn with enchantments, however they can be enchanted by enchanters.

Summon

Blaze spawners summon blazes in huge waves whenever the hero is within a certain distance from it.

• Blaze spawners have a brighter fire than their zombie-spawning counterparts, and additionally have skulls on each upper corner.
