A blaze is a hostile mob that can be found within the Flames of the Nether DLC of Minecraft Dungeons.

Blazes attempt to stay away from the hero, and flee if they get too close. If a blaze takes damage, they get dimmer until they fall apart. Blazes are healed by items like the Satchel of Elements and the fire effects of various enchantments. Blazes are unaffected by the flame geysers within the Nether Fortress.

Basic attack triple attack

Blazes will occasionally stop in place and shoot three blaze rods at the hero which deal damage on hit and light them on fire. If a rod hits a block, it will set the block on fire.

Idle looking around

Blazes, when damaged, will go towards a fire within their sight and hover over it as it heals them, making them bright again as the fire is extinguished.
