The Vigilant Scoundrel is an ancient royal guard that can be encountered during ancient hunt. Vigilant scoundrel offers, at a minimum, the following runes:

Vigilant scoundrel can be damaged only after its shield is destroyed. Vigilant scoundrel is slower than most mobs, yet extremely strong, capable of dealing heavy damage to the hero. Despite this, they can still be stunned by normal attacks.
Vigilant scoundrel chase and attacks the hero who attracted them first and ignore other heroes.[verify]
