Lava Cave is an optional sub dungeon within the mission Dingy Jungle.

Appearance and description

[edit | edit source]

Lava Cave is located east of a split path found shortly after the open area with the massive tree trunk in Dingy Jungle. It is a large lava-filled temple containing obsidian creeper pillars and thin stone brick walkways. There are several ambushes throughout the temple, as well as several buttons that must be pressed to raise walkways out of the lava. Upon reaching the ending area of Lava Cave, a large obsidian tablet can be found that reads "Find where bamboo grows, when canyon lava flows" in illageralt. This acts as a hint to the location of the Fossil Canyon optional sub dungeon, which contains the scroll that unlocks the Panda Plateau secret mission.

Quotes

[edit | edit source]

No jungle-saving mission would be complete without a generous helping of skeleton-infested ruins. For extra spice, we’ve added a dash of lava to give that β€˜imminent-peril’ sensation!
