A mob spawner, also known as zombie spawner, is a hostile mob that spawns zombies in Minecraft Dungeons. It has a blaze variant in the DLC of Flames of the Nether.
Mob spawners produce a crackling sound when idle, and remain stationary. Their health ranks among the highest of any regular mob. They can also spawn enchanted, though the only enchantments that actually affect the spawner are defensive enchantments like Burning and Chilling.
While active, mob spawners will constantly summon zombies to attack the player.
Mob spawners have 380 HP in the code. On Default I, all mobs have 9.6% health and 12% damage of what is set in the code.

MOB SPAWNER – These monster factories spew out waves of hostile mobs until they are destroyed. Heroes can easily be swarmed, so try to hit them with a ranged weapon while fending off as many spawned mobs as you can, then finish off the remaining mobs.
