Change the date and time on iPhone

The time zone on your iPhone is set automatically, but if you don’t have Location Services turned on or you don’t have service, you can change it manually.

Set the date and time

Go to the Settings app 👁 Image
on your iPhone.
Tap General, then tap Date & Time.
Turn off Set Automatically, then tap Time Zone.
Enter a location in the search field, then tap the result to change the time zone.

Change the clock format

Go to the Settings app 👁 Image
on your iPhone.
Tap General, then tap Date & Time.
Turn 24-Hour Time on or off to choose how to display the time.

Tip: To change the font color and style of the clock on the Lock Screen, see Edit your Lock Screen or create a new one.
