14w34d is the fifty-second and final snapshot for Java Edition 1.8, released on August 20, 2014,^[1] which fixes some bugs and crashes from 14w34a, 14w34b, and 14w34c. It was announced that it would likely be the last snapshot before the 1.8 pre-release.^[2] This is also the final snapshot released in 2014.
