A version of Indev 0.31 was released on December 31, 2009, at 22:55 UTC.[1] It was announced on The Word of Notch at 22:57 UTC.[2] This is the final version released in 2009.
The following changes happened in this version at the latest; as the immediately preceding versions have not been archived, there currently exists no way to confirm for certain whether the changes mentioned here were made in one of said versions.
The item forms of most blocks are now lit differently from before. The left and right sides of blocks are no longer lit the same as they were previously; the left has been brightened and the right darkened. If a block used a solid white texture, the top face would use the color
#F4F4F4, the left face
#9E9E9E and the right face
#666666.
Saplings, dandelions, roses, red mushrooms and brown mushrooms are unchanged from their previous appearances.
