The footprint was a joke item from Java Edition 20w14∞, found only in the missing dimension.

The footprint is a semi-transparent item with a grey color scheme.

This item cannot be found in the Creative inventory, but it can be middle-click duplicated in Creative mode or given with the /give <target> minecraft:footprint <amount> command.

Footprints are only generated in a chest in the missing dimension. There is a maximum of 2 footprints that can be legitimately obtained in any world.

This item cannot be placed or used in any way.
