Pale hanging moss is a block found under the logs and leaves of pale oaks. When attached to a pale oak log or leaves, it emits ambient sounds.

Breaking

Pale hanging moss can be broken instantly with any tool or by hand. It drops itself only when mined with shears or a tool enchanted with Silk Touch, otherwise it drops nothing.

Natural generation

Pale hanging moss generates under the leaves and logs of pale oaks in pale gardens. Pale hanging moss does not grow naturally after generating or being placed. Pale hanging moss does not generate as part of pale oaks grown from saplings.

Post-generation

By applying bone meal to pale hanging moss, the plant will grow one block longer at the bottom.

In Bedrock Edition, wandering traders have a chance of 8.5% (increased by 1% per level of Looting) to drop 3 pale hanging moss when killed while showing the item as trade offer, if the player holds an emerald.
