A smooth stone slab is a decorative slab variant of smooth stone that generates in overworld structures and is used for building and crafting armor stands along with sticks.

Obtaining

[edit | edit source]

Breaking

[edit | edit source]

Smooth stone slabs can be mined using any pickaxe. If mined without a pickaxe, they drop nothing.

  1. ↑ These durations ignore any other influential factors (e.g., Mining Fatigue) and are measured in seconds. For more information, see Breaking Β§ Speed.

Natural generation

[edit | edit source]

Smooth stone slabs can generate as part of strongholds and plains, savanna, taiga, and snowy tundra villages. Smooth stone slabs can also generate in woodland mansions, some Overworld ruined portals, and in trail ruins.
